AKAP Energy introduces its Australian helium map, capturing all prospective helium exploration areas and the junior helium companies operating on the continent. Australia currently has no helium production following Santos' shutdown of the Bayu Undan field, offshore Northern Territory, in late 2023. However, multiple helium discoveries have been made across Australia in the past two years, with companies now testing for commercial viability. AKAP Energy's map allows viewers to see the field locations, along with the companies that either hold or have applied for licences on those fields.
