Australia's Federal Budget endorsed hydrogen development, particularly through a new tax credit scheme that offers A$2/kg for green hydrogen production, aligning with global trends. Gold Hydrogen, which aims to produce natural hydrogen on the Yorke Peninsula, could qualify for these incentives. With its low production costs and minimal environmental footprint compared to traditional green hydrogen methods, Gold Hydrogen could significantly benefit from this policy. Companies are still awaiting detailed guidelines on the scheme's application to ascertain if they could qualify for the scheme.
