Helium One Global is set to commence an Extended Well Test (EWT) at the Itumbula West-1 (ITW-1) well in Tanzania's Rukwa project in Jul'24, following successful preliminary tests that showed promising helium concentrations. The company is fully equipped with a company-owned rig, newly acquired well control equipment, and a drill crew ready for operation. The test, expected to take 4-6 weeks, aims to further explore and define the commercial viability of the fault-fracture helium play, supported by third-party services including SLB for well testing and GeoLog for mudlogging. Results from this EWT will inform a forthcoming feasibility study and a mining licence application, integral to transitioning from prospecting to development phases.
