HyTerra gets Two Drilling Approvals for Nemaha Project in Kansas

HyTerra received two regulatory approvals from the Kansas Corporation Commission to drill the Sue Duroche-3 (SD-3) well at its Nemaha Project in Riley County and the Blythe 13-20 well in the Morris Country, both in Kansas. The SD-3 well is located ~200m north of the Sue Duroche-2 well, which was drilled in 2009 and reported up to 92% hydrogen and up to 3% helium. The Blythe 13-20 well will be located ~1,400m east of the historic Scott-1 well drilled in 1982, which reported up to 56% hydrogen. The diverse geological formations within these leases enable HyTerra to prioritise and rank various independent hydrogen and helium prospects for its upcoming exploration programme. This approach allows for the most promising sites to be drilled first, optimising resource utilisation and enhancing the efficiency of the drilling programme as multiple vendors are being assessed for operational services. Furthermore, additional permits to drill are being prepared in parallel for other hydrogen and helium prospects to support final selection for maiden drilling which remains on track for Q3'24.
