Mahlako Gas Energy (MGE) finalised its investment in Tetra4 (Renergen's subsidiary), securing a 5.5% stake in the company for R550mm (~US$29mm), which holds South Africa's first onshore petroleum production licence and proven helium assets. With a focus on advancing South Africa's energy security, MGE's commitment reflects alignment with the Integrated Resources Plan (IRP) 2023, contributing to security of supply, energy affordability, and carbon emission reductions.
