The National Science Foundation (NSF) has granted US$29mm to 18 universities for the exploration of quantum-scale sensors, supported by the National Quantum Initiative Act and Bringing Quantum Sensors to Fruition report. Over four years, the teams will research quantum phenomena and diverse research activities focusing on helium-4-based quantum sensors.
