A research report by the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies examines natural hydrogen's role in decarbonisation. An interesting statistic was around the levelised cost of hydrogen which the report estimates at ~US$5.5/kg which is much higher than what most exploration companies claim to be able to achieve. The report conducts a deep dive into comparing natural hydrogen vs blue and green hydrogen as well.
