ShipBots has signed an agreement with Aeros to handle the delivery of 5mm parcels annually in the Los Angeles area using airships and drones. This partnership will utilise Aeros' Zero-Emission Electric Variable Buoyancy Airship (eVBA) which uses helium to stay afloat and UAS technology for rapid deliveries within 90 minutes of order placement. Packages will be delivered directly from airborne mobile warehouses to customers' doorsteps by drones. The helium airship market has been growing in the last year with companies such as Hybrid Air Vehicles, Flying Whales, and Aeros at the forefront.
