Top End Energy secured the Exploration Permit EP 258 in the Northern Territory, Australia. This permit, the first granted in the region since 2015, allows the company to explore for natural hydrogen and helium, leveraging the McArthur Basin's geological features like deep-seated faults and Dolerite dykes, which facilitate the migration of helium from granitic source rocks undergoing radiolysis. The company plans to conduct an AGG survey to delineate structural features, followed by targeted 2D seismic acquisitions and geochemical analyses to identify gas migration pathways and confirm drilling targets for helium alongside other gases.
