Latest data from Turkey has revealed that the country has been increasing helium imports from Russia.

Dec'24 and Feb'25 saw ~3mmcf from Russia compared to the stable 1-1.5mmcf/m over the past year. For the LTM to Feb'25, Russian imports have increased by 82% y/y. Some imports to Turkey are classified as "Others," but analysing the pricing from these routes shows they are consistent with Russian volumes priced at ~US$420/mcf over the LTM. The balance of Turkish imports originate from the US, Qatar and recently Algeria, following the startup of a new processing plant by Air Products. Markets open to Russian goods will likely see an increase in their market share.
